** A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car at 87th Street and Atlantic Avenue last night (Thursday).  An arrest was made – click here for pictures.  The victim was a 73-year old man named Rafael Diaz.  Click here for the story.  Details are still coming in.  We have communicated with one relative and passed along our condolences as well as letting them know that we are available to help, if needed.
