Woodhaven Graffiti Clean-Up — Sat. April 30th

On Saturday, April 30th, the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association and Assemblyman Mike Miller are teaming up to clean up graffiti vandalism in Woodhaven.

As you walk or drive around Woodhaven, take notice of the expanding reach of graffiti — the thugs who vandalize our community have become more and more brazen.  Why?  Because our neighborhood is chock full of complacent residents who allow it to happen — who won’t even lift a finger to prevent it.

And so the vandals get away with it — they see no effort to fight back — and the next time, they get a little more brazen — to the point where they graffiti entire houses.

Here’s your chance to do something about it — and maybe make some new friends along the way

Sign up to be a Team member for Saturday April 30th — we’re still working out the details — they kind of depend on how many people sign up — but we’ll be meeting mid-morning and go for a few hours — we’ll travel in teams and be concentrating mostly on public property (light poles, mailboxes, etc).

This is ideal for kids who need credit for community service — each student who takes part will get a citation (or a letter, if that’s what is needed) —

Join the team by e-mailing us at info@woodhaven-nyc.org or calling us at 718-296-3735.
