The Write Stuff . . . Ugh! Luckily, the 102nd Precinct doesn’t give out tickets for old clichés.
The Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association is looking for a few writers for an event we’re planning during the first quarter of 2010.
We are looking to provide a forum for writers who specialize in poetry, short stories, screenplays, novels, articles, blogs . . . and we’re looking to have those writers read a sampling of their work to an audience.
Our conditions are as follows:
- You must be 21 years of age, or older.
- You must have been born in Woodaven — or be a current resident of Woodhaven.
If interested, drop us a line at:
Please include a brief sample of the piece you’d like to read. The length of time each person will have to read depends on how many participants we get.
Note: Unless you have an objection, your reading will be recorded and posted online on YouTube and Project Woodhaven.
